About Our Grammar and Integrated Skills Textbook Collection

Our Grammar and Integrated Skills textbook collection is designed to help ESL learners progress from novice to advanced proficiency in English. For example, each book in the Grammar series contains 8 instructional units (or chapters), and each unit exposes the reader to grammar concepts that will challenge their skills and build their fluency. Throughout each unit, the reader is given a variety of opportunities to learn, practice, and apply level-appropriate grammatical concepts.

Likewise, all books in the Integrated Skills series contain 8 instructional units and expose learners to a wide variety of reading, writing, listening, and speaking materials. The instructional units also include hands-on activities specifically crafted to move students towards the next proficiency level.

In addition, each element of our books is specially designed to serve the complex learning needs of ESL students from any language background. All of the concepts covered in the book, as well as the associated skills, have been aligned with ACTFL proficiency guidelines.

Correlation is the Key

Both collections of Integrated Skills and Grammar textbooks are correlated and meant to be used together.

Our Grammar collection exposes learners to grammar concepts that allow them to learn, practice, and apply complex grammatical concepts.

The Integrated Skills collection exposes learners to reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises. This series of textbooks builds upon the concepts taught in the grammar collection.
